"I could be talking about the usual stuff: the great atmosphere in and around football games, the beautiful campus, the very competent teaching staff, the always sunny Texan weather, the AWESOME Mexican food, I could go on for pages….
But I think the thing that stuck to me most is the strong bond between a lot of the exchange/international students. There wasn’t one weekend where we as an international group (30-50 people) didn’t do something together, weekend trips to Austin or Dallas, going to Northgate, movie nights, tailgates and football games or just playing flag football. I think its safe to say, that I met people in this group that I will never forget, and some I would even call friends for life. There can´t be anything better than that.
I still feel like an aggie, and I think, that won´t change too much. The strong connection you instantly build to Texas A&M, “Aggieland” and all the values of being an Aggie stay with you, wherever you go. For a European student, at first it might feel weird, but just go with it, and you will have the time of your life. Being an Aggie is not “living for learning, but to learning for life!"
